Maybe the menopause is a consequence of natural cult progression for many Ernaldans. So older Vingans, Ernalda the Queen types may stay fertile until they change (if they change) cults.

Also: I'm guessing this is an Orlanthi All - Roderick usually uses the term with Gloranthan precision!
