        I'm not so sure about this. Heortling women have much more control over their fertility than women in sililar RW societies, and the large number (especially after TR) of women with healing powers (plus those Chalana Arroy worshippers running around) means that infant mortality is going to be considerably lower than it was in the RW. If birth rates aren't fairly low in Glorantha (Orlanthi lands, at any rate) compared to the bronze/iron age RW, the main threat to the Orlanthi will be huge population booms followed by starvation.
