Raiding happens about once ever year or so. That's the 'get the fyrd
together boys, we's going to the Black Oaks' Typically, Cattle Raids
happen frequently, often as often as several times a season. It is a
sport and the main way for a young man to gain cattle-wealth and fame.
And these raids can go horribly wrong. Remember, many of the raids
are against clans you have feuds with ... and in that case,
bloodprices are oft ignored. They can become bloody little affairs,
especially if the raiders (bold young men and women) screw up or get
too overconfident.
