Sounds like my cue to plug the myth of "Hippogriff's Avenging Daughter," available at www.etyries.com/Folktale/hippo.htm -- if you're wanting to confuse this heroquest with some fun weirdness, this should certainly provide food for thought.

Note also that Bruce's recent folktale of "How Chalana Arroy Brought Voria Back" has just been re-housed on my website, because I thought it was so super. You read it here first...
