Day 7
The van guard was sent forward towad Rafelios. Unsure of their support within the city and overconfident in thier Cataphracti armour the best Kitor warriors took to the field. The earth shook as their massive chargers stomped the ground. Brass glittered in the sunlight. Around these huge, brazen horsemen screamed and yelled the Char Un. Bones and body parts tied into their harnesses, cruel looking scars making them appear to be inhuman savages. The first action was a charge by impetuous Char Un, riding madly toward the host of the Bull, loosing an arrow or two then fleeing back, screeching curses and foul insults. This did little to drw out the Bull's army, but as more and more charges occured the initial contact became more prolonged. [a series of low bids in an extended contest]

Eventually the Brass Cataphracts were drawn into close combat. The brutal Axe Sister were at the forefront of the attack on the bronze masked horsemen. The Lords of Rafelios, crying for revenge, broke themselves on the seemingly invulnerable Brass Warriors. Although nothing could touch them the Cataphracts were soon surrounded, small groups fighting without hope of escape, Char Un caught with them. The Axe Sisters used their Axe Power and found a way to break their armour. This was too late for the Lords of Rafelios, they had been destroyed to a man. Some Char Un managed to escape, they were not pursued.

Meanwhile, the main army marhced past this conflict, sure of victory. They went to the walls of Rafelios and prepared for a siege; none was needed for the people of Rafelios had no love for the Char Un garrison or their Moon Officers.

Day 8
Following this success the army was split up; some forces sent to Balovius, some to remain in Rafelios, some to move toward Kitor. Adeal was rejected at Balovius. The Bandit clans were ransacking the ruins if Enthyr. This caused great destruction; a whole clan was wiped out by the Spolite Witches and their army of decrepitude.
