Whaddya mean "a crime we did not commit" ;-) You were "outlawed" on the understanding that you would commit the crime on behalf of the clan - and then you failed but got the required result anyway. Apart from Jonrick being killed that is. And you will be welcomed back into the clan, but not soon. The tribe, however, may have some slight issues with your return.
