I don't know. I think the Brithini as a whole are extremely pragmatic (within the framework of the Law). Cruelty and kindness are not distinctions that they make too often, I think, and never to outsiders. Remember, for the Brithini, one wrong action can compromise immortality, so I think they tend to err on the side of doing too little, not making exceptiones, etc. Any "niceness ' would be circumscribed with taboos. But that's just my opinion, and non-Brithini Zzaburites don't have these problems (some wish they did, some don't).
