It's different: in Italy we study English as a second language, but the study of foreign languages is very poor, when compared to (for instance) Germany or Scandinavia. So a lot of people has studied english but can't spell more than "My name is such and such". Further, we play in Italian (?) but with a big load of anglicism, Gloranthism and RuneQuestism, so it's much easier if you "know" english.
And KoDP, finally, is *hard* if you don't comprehend english well.
