Yes, it's called "The Tribe". I don't suppose that as a general rule, a Praxian Warband travels that far from it's tribe (since they will be providing the sort of support outlined by Roderick above) and the tribe won't let the warband get to far away, since that would leave it unprotected and vulnerable...

Leaving aside the question of whether the Fyrd actually moves more than 2 days march from the Tula, then Yes, I think it would have to have some sort of baggage train . The amount of food needed to feed that number of people is not going to be easy to forage, without spending a lot of time, and ranging quite widely from your route - the only sensible thing to do is to bring supplies with you.

(Note that a small raiding party, or a Heroband (a bunch of PC's) do not face the same problem. It is much quicker and easier to find/hunt food for 6 people rather than 600...)
