The book is actually in error on page 174, bottom. Vinga can NOT initiate inot any of the Orlanth aspects.
Women first initiate as women into the Ernalda cult. They may then initiate into the Vinga cult. This is the equivalent of an Orlanth aspect. She gets the affinities of that aspect-level worship (as in ST page 174.) Normally they also initite into a Vinga subcult at that time, though they could initiate into any subcult. Then she may, if desired, initiate into any of the subcults of Orlanth.
However, they can not initiate into any of the Orlanth aspects. No Vinga Allfather.
Of course, exceptions always exist and I am stating the normal rule here.
