Is the Questlines fanzine still available? I don't hope too much but one never knows.

"their very dreams are compelled to work for the Morlocks. The Morlocks are unable to dream themselves for they lost that portion of humanity when Zistor was killed."

Just an idea, inspired by the various last posts: Machines don't dream. Maybe the Zistorites' ability to dream is gradually replaced with Machine Dreams, which are possibly provided by funny dream machines. The higher their awareness of Cosmic Mechanics, the higher their dependency on the machines in order to keep that portion of humanity which they will eventually lose when the God Machine will be destroyed. Ironically these dreams are just an illusion of humanity because in real life most Zistorites are already like machines.

The Machine Dreams may be what will attract so many followers to the Zistorite philosophy (probably they are much greater than the real thing). Thanks to the spreading of one base form of Zistorism by people like Dalarok Redsail, the Zistorites might dispose of their mass production of machines. Dalarok and his likes might make a profit and the God Machine gain more power, not mentioning various mind control opportunities. Lots of the baser practionners of the philosophy in Locsil grow fat, white-skinned and near-blind as they spend their time dreaming, their eyes blasted by light flashes sent by the God Machine, tended by their machines.

Now the Morlocks desire so much the wonderful machine dreams they lost when Zistor died that they are reduced to tap their slaves' dreams. But it doesn't work, because they think like machines and stupidly use the dreams as another means to increase productivity.
