I suggest you go and re-read your naturalist books. And re-read the little bit of a story attached to the Bobcat listing in Anaxial.

So you have said. Repeatedly.
Can you change the record?
Or just YGMV and give your players big huge, obnoxious panthers that live in their steads and stop going on about it here? If I was you, I'd just say that there's domesticated alynxes and wild shadowcats and just gone about my business rather than keep pestering folks to change the rules in some offical capacity. Its like the differnece between a wolf and a beagle. But that's what I'd do.
I'd point out that in the old game Shadowcats were _rare_ (and often SIZE 1). Now, with HeroWars, alynxes are critters that live in every stead and household. All things considered, that's really hard to imagine if they are so huge. I can imagine something the size of a large dog living in my house. I can't imagine a dozen meat-eating ponies being readily supported by a single stead.
Thanks,
Jeff
