As well as Paypal there are sites like Mighty Words out there:

which host paid for content. No idea how hard it would be to set up an account. I have downloaded some computing articles of interest. They used a password protected PDF file to prevent copying problems. Was a bit fiddly but OK once you get used to it.

Sample extracts - so people have an idea what they are getting before they pay would also be useful, no idea how successful a shareware like download and then buy if you like it would be.
