Its consistently hunted, actually. Though mostly by the young. Its good practice for larger game. Its more of a 'casual' hunt rather than dedicated. Mostly done with snare and trap rather than stalking. Or hunting alynxes, that would work too.

Its easy to set snares and check them on the way home. Its not dramatic but its what was done, at least by the natives here.
