Hard to miss. :) Two reasons from me - The giant's homelands are to the North of Far Point proper, despite the well worn walkway of the Giant's Walk. Secondly, more personally, I don't run giants in mundane campaigns, for the same reasons I don't run Mostali - I can't get them to work (early illustrations of giant spikes in Wyrm's Footnotes notwithstanding). You're right though, they should be on the list.
