      In the sense that they tend to ritualise their combat rather than doing it for real, maybe (obviously, this becomes less true as the campaign unfolds and the KoW becomes more powerful and increasingly desperate measures are required to defeat it). I'm inclined to suspect, however, that the sort of ritualised combat games they'd play would more like chess or backgammon than Squad Leader - i.e. highly ritualised with strict rules for what the various pieces (king, lords, wizards, knights, etc.) can do. Although the Loskalmi version will let you 'promote' lowly pieces who reach the far side of the board, unlike in the rigid Rokari rules!

     The West is also the most likely place to find card games, IMO. The suits could be something like spades, swords, staves and crowns...
