A more serious objection IMO is that if one side is Orlanth and the thunderbrothers, who does the opponent play? The Emperor and his minions? Chaos? I can't think of any opponents that a heortling would _want_ to step into the shoes of, however metaphorically. It's possible that both players are Orlanth, but I think that's too weird for most orlanthi. So I feel a more reasonable idea is that the pieces represent conflicting clans - a concept close to the hearts of all heortlings.
