The canonical article on MGF is on MOB's website. (MOB stands for Michael O'Brien, who is the leading proponent of Maximum Game Fun as a touchstone for Gloranthan gaming).

Although MOB himself often uses MGF for slapstick purposes (cf. the tournament scenarios attached to his article), the concept itself has *far* broader application.
