        It would be nice if there were a few terms that were "standard" for all Orlanthi, more that were specific to the Heortlings, still more that are specific to tribes, and many having specific meanings only on the clan/cult level. So "ghast" might mean "evil animist spirit," in some places "evil (not necessarily animist) spirit" in others, and "animist spirit" in still others. Perhaps a word that means "hearth god" in Sartar means (in a slightly varient form) "minor earth daimone" in Ralios, and so on. This allows for all sorts of confusion for player characters as they wander around. It's not as if Orlanthi "spiritual technitions" have annual conventions and trade journals pushing for standardized language, after all....
