Harrek, weaponthanes and relative strength

I've been running a high end Argrath campaign for two years now (see Wesleys Glorantha site for the Gwandor Saga, the Tales of Argrath Dragonfriend - #64 is due soon, followed by 65 and 66 over the next two weeks) and have seen a lot of epic fights, including the Dragon Rise and the Battle of Heroes.

Harrek I consider to be 10w5 in Close Combat as well as his physical skills and 15w4 in his main magics, plus he has the bear god as a ally in the 15w5 range of abilities, mostly used to augment his own. He has around 30 direct combat followers who are truly nasty, mostly better than any tribal champion and around a 1000 or more Wolf Pirates, all of whom are top weaponthane level at least, some like Mularik or Sharpsword are higher.

Add in magical equipment, weapons (Whitefang Rank 10 or 12, armour rank 10) and the like, Harrek is truly formidable. A clan opposing just Harrek without his companions would be in deep trouble. Their best warriors might slow him down for a few seconds and the destruction of their warleaders would be so damaging for morale that any tribe, short of fanatics would break. Even a tribal champion, a man in the 15w3 range, would be utterly outclassed. PLUS Harrek can use many heropoints too, for he has a LOT. Harrek also has such wide experience, that he is used to dealing with varied foes. He will likely have a spell or a spirit to weaken almost any opponent or boost his abilities against them. He is also smart, he knows his strengths and weaknesses and excells at projecting the "stupid, dangerous barbarian" image to distract and decieve his foes.

Put him on a battlefield and he can swing a combat, can destroy a line or slay the enemy command.
