No, not really. His house is on the side of a hill. The upshot of that is that two sides of his house have no windows. In the living room, the only windows are very high up (on the second floor), so it could kinda feel like you were down in a hole.
Now, all that said, if you pulled up at the end of the block and asked which house on the block belongs to the Evil Genius, 98% of respondents would pick his. It is . . . unusual, especially the front door, which appears to be burnished plate armor.
