IIRC that particular volume of Gloranthan Classics was cancelled at the last minute, after much heated behind-the-scenes debate. Many believed that a detailed xenological study of the Grotaron "invisible fuckfest" sacred ritual would hinder the development of Gloranthan RuneQuest Sight research in general, because of the necessarily skewed focus implied for the Adept, whilst others were of a various opinion, that the psychoanalytics of Invisible Mountain Mammoth rôle-substitution in the underdeveloped Grotaron psyche was illuminating for our understanding of Genertelan psychomythogenic neuroses in general, and could not therefore be discounted (despite the initially disquieting -invisible!- imagery) as a method for understanding the deeper underlying sexual relationship of Maker and Grower, as implicitly manifest in such lower mortal consciousnesses (viz. Fraüd, S., Unsprecchlichenmammothige Id neurosis und Grotarons mütter-complex mit invisibilens ilustrazions, vol. II, Jrusteligeuniverstischepresse, Wasser-Erde 843). (Fraüd suggested the theory that the Invisible Mountain Mammoths were "Id Monsters" engendered by the raw, underdevoloped (hence neurotic) "magical" ie phallic-energy power of the Grotaron-as-Maker (hence the sexual imagery of the gigantic bow and arrow) lusting for an always unattainable and violently sexualised osmosis with the cosmic mother-of-the-Grotarons (& Grower-substitute), Scriimrunaway[1]).
