It was actually more focused on large '70s moustaches, my new fetish... ducks are so passé! A fair few of the British '70s and '80s footie stereotypes are actually quite cross-culturally transferable with '70s and '80s Aussie Rules, I'd suggest. Especially the mullets.

I was faced with the glittering ranks of Star Wars Eps. IV-VI DVD box sets in town yesterday. Needless to say I'm a discerning enough connoisseur of cultural phenomena to ignore this tit-tat, and instead bought the Magnum P.I. Complete First Season DVD set.

Magnum would be a damned fine HQ character, methinks. Where's the Eastern Isles authors? Whooooaaa. What about Caladraland? That's close enough to Volsaxiland. It's got volcanoes (v. impt.)... and a warm climate, and lots of surf, no doubt. And there are various islands nearby. Robin Masters is actually the Pharaoh, and Volsaxing Magnum and Lunar Higgins are guarding one of his Caladran mansions.
