Is there a problem that the literary version of Leika and the Player Character version are different?

When we cast a LARP do we have to make sure that we only pick players that look exactly like our visions of the Gloranthan characters? I guess the next game I'll have to cast everyone, myself included, as Morkanth herdmen. Well fed ones, mind you.
