THE THREE DUCKS is the most common wayhouse name in Tarsh, I'm given to believe. Special mention must, however, be given to a temporary winehouse in the Field of Silver Tents, outside Aldachur.

What was originally THE THREE DUCKS became for a brief while THE TWO DUCKS, when one of the stuffed ducks was taken by what is believed to be a Rinliddi chapter of Eskerdothite rectal insurgents.

The local garrison got annoyed at this inadequacy, and strapped an oversized UirTurid phallus to one of the wereducks, and then, erm... rearranged... them in various positions. The place was thus renamed THE DUCK AND DRAKE. The positions tend to change nightly. The death-grimaces frozen on the ducks' faces (one curiously ecstatic), can make this pretty musing. Different cultures within the Empire have their own prurient preferences, and the scenes can be quite informative. Given diverse reactions to such things as 'Bad Sex', fights often break out, and the garrison commander has drawn up a list of prohibited simulated acts.

"Fuck a duck!" is a common exclamation among soldiers that have bivouacked at the camp.
