Or become the advisors who counsel against such behavior in short
order. In the case of Sheep Clouds Thunder, I do think that old "Bear
Belly" is generally on up and up. That's why I chose him as the
sponsor - over vocal objections from He Who Shall Not Be Named. And he
would likely, after the events in SCT. After the events in the "Cloud
Fox" scenario (the second part of the arc to be published in
Voriofssaga) or the events in "Sky Ship" or even the events in "Aiding
the Vendrief" the player characters are going tobe listened too.
I think it would be more fun to have one or two of Kallyr's advisors
who counsel the expedient and violent path while others - among them
the player characters - advocate a more enlightened (?) approach.
Neither will win all the time but it makes a good background storyline
as the heroes try keep the Rebellion 'clean'. And a good use of a
rival herogroup who are more pragmatic and get the job done regardless
as a compare/contrast to the heroes' own efforts.
