Simon Phipp :
That's not bad, you have the basic tactics covered, thumbs up !!
You are forgetting :
- Play completely normally, until such a time as a situation occurs where sleeving could normally be used. Start saying that you're going to sleeve but then stop yourself, take on an air of confused disappointment, and then engage in whichever emotional activity you would feel to be appropriate the the lack of sleeving. Do you sulk ? Lose your temper ? Seethe with suppressed anger ? It doesn't matter, just as long as your "distress" can be tapped into for the purposes of using emotional blackmail in favour of sleeving.
- If you play the game with more than one GM, you can talk about "the other game" during gaming sessions, and mention sleeving when it occurred there and show how happy it made you that you were able to do it there. Tailor the implications of your stories to need, depending on your perceptions of your GM's insecurities.
- Create a new character who is deliberately gimped so that it cannot function properly without sleeving. This character will randomly provide you with several ad hoc opportunities to complain how unfair it is that the GM forbids sleeving, hence "ruining" your character and being unfair towards you.
- Poke fun at the GM's rule disallowing sleeving multiple times over the course of several sessions, to point out how stupid it is, and to try and get everyone laughing at him for not allowing sleeving in the game.
