The same rules for playing in Glorantha apply when "World-building the Glorantha way"

  1. Start small - You don't need to have detailed descriptions of every country, culture, cult and personality - especially if your going to be starting off in a small out of the way community. A vague idea of what is out there is fine, you can fill in the details when they become relevant
  2. "Your World Will Vary" - You are using the world to tell stories (through the games you set there). Since your stories and your players will be different from anyone elses, your world may have differences from the way other people might imagine it (whether this is "your Glorantha" vs "Greg's Glorantha" or "your world based on X" vs "X" (where X might be a real world culture, a setting for a film, tv series, book(s), comics etc, or a mixture of more than one of the above). Don't worry about this - either accept it outright, or go back at your leisure to explain why this instance looks different.
