Long game... Seven different heroquests within 10 years of assuming kingship of the Tribe. After that, well, it gets interesting. I don't think they have to be on your ring. However, there are certain encounters that trigger the endgame. If you've met the above criteria, they start to unfold the endgame. Look for the Feathered Horse Queen or the False King or several other little clues that the Kingship is nigh.
You will know when you have won the game!
