I've noticed that all the little refugee peoples I adopt always seem to be quite good. So I pretty much now adopt any vagrants and vagabonds who show up on my doorstep.

                Hm, don't think I've had this happen (and I usually adpot anyone I can into

                my clans :)... Though it should probably be mentioned that if a new clan

                comes wandering and asks to cross your tula, if you offer to adopt them into

                your clan, you'll get a couple of new nobles, usually quite good ones.
