Perhaps you just didn't go raiding enough. They probably are doing hoplite and phalanx drills right in the village commons. How could you let this happen?

There is always another way: Violence! Of course, you could have had all your children grow up to be StormBulls. That would be equally bad. Or Lankor Mhy, which would just be... odd.

You should have taken your youngsters on more raids. Shown them the joys of hunting and stealing outher people's stuff.
