Canada was largely founded by people fleeing the new
and bizarre ways in the 13 colonies after they
subjected themselves to a new government? I'd say
Canada lines up better with Sartar and the US with
Heortland.....therefore the strange Orlanthi (I think
they are from Ralios) would have to be either brits or
australians ;-)

The two aren't all that far apart...my best advice is
to explore up the main rivers to the north in detail,
and you will find both. Oh, but for finding SnakePipe
hollow, if you want the explorers to live to tell the
tale, you may want to send someone with decent combat
skill.
