Conversely, the first time we arranged a marriage that
brought a "wise and knowledgeable young maiden" (of
good family, no less), into our clan, I was dejected
when I then checked our leaders screen to see what
skills she had, and found she wasn't amongst listed
leaders at all. Fair is fair, if we don't lose people
to marriage we shouldn't gain them from it, but I do
still recall my sense of being cheated on that first
occasion.
*thinking some more* I think most Orlanthi women marry
young, so by the time they show up as leaders, you
could assume that they've married into your clan
already. Conversely, you never even see as leaders
the one who marry outside of the clan.
