You always meet Cragspider when you go up that way,
from my fairly extensive experience. With enough
probing you can find the exact limits of her sphere of
influence (and burn off some less useful leaders in
the process....)
I think the only way to get that portion of the map
fully detailed would be to to the Issaries heroquest
to learn more about the dragon pass area.
