Regardless, an online game is going to cost its maintainers money constantly to keep it up. The "traditional" version of KoDP obviously hasn't been very succesful, and it'd probably be even harder to attract people to play an online game with a monthly fee than it'd be to get them buy the game. There's a good chance that such an "online KoDP" project would only produce losses.
