43 (!) horsemen and 466 footmen. Against our 14 weaponthanes and 86 of the fyrd. It was a slaughter, especially since we didn't even have our own tribe yet. :-/

Well, they didn't kill us all, but we ended up with 6 killed and 5 wounded weaponthanes, as well as 17 killed and 65 (!) wounded
footmen....
