I'm using a virtual machine with windows 98 installed to run the game (VirtualBox on MacOS X, but could be VMWare, VirtualPC etc etc, just choose VBox 'cause it's free).

I feel it's a simpler way. Running a Windows 95 app on vista can be such a nightmare.
