IIRC the elemental needs enough material of its type to materialize. If I'm right, where does the would-be gnome take the earth? Though maybe it needs it only to materialize when it is summoned... - -- Regards, Alexandre. An arrow with a gnome binded in it
would be devastating weapon if the gnome was given the order to come out
in mid-air. 10 m3 gnome coming at you like a meteor is not a healthy
sight. If that was the case, how should the damage be calculated? Simple
damage bonus seems way too little for this kind of case. Double or triple
perhaps?

I'd figure it at 2x the thing's damage bonus, in a fashion similar to
determining a Horse's trample damage.

They are supposed to be temporary reality. Does that meen that by eating illusionary food one could survive on it? And if so what would happen when the illusion dissipates after the digestion process had finished its course and illusionary particles had already become part of eaters body? Or does illusionary food just go through without dissolving and cause dirrhea? I tend to think that full illusions can do same as real food. According to scientists persons every atom is changed in seven years so I would think that illusion food eaten with longer duration would be safe to eat. Of course dispels might cause problems if a person is composed of illusionary particles. One final possibility is that after becoming part of a real creature the illusion becomes real reality and stops being an illusion. Comments, ideas? No. "Temporary reality" means that the illusion does have an existence outside of the mind of it's perceivers, and you cannot negate it's presence by disbelieving it intensely enough. Say you create the visual illusion of a bridge. People trying to walk on it will fall through, even if they fully believe there is a bridge here. But if you create a tactile illusion of a bridge (with an intensity high enough), anybody can walk on it, even if they don't see it and know it's an illusion. Applied to food, it mean that you can (by combining visual, tactile, olfactive and gustative illusions) create a magical construct that react like food for most senses. But it has no nutritive properties and cannot sustain you (great trick for diet, or to masquerade something barely edible or with an awful taste). > And if so what would happen when the illusion > dissipates after the digestion process had finished its course and > illusionary particles had already become part of eaters body?
