There's a thought: how is Whitewall supplied with water?

Rain, and big reservoirs?
Wells going down to local water-level? (that's a long way when you're on a plateau)
Underground streams, along which Ducks could swim? Wagons full of barrels?
Bucket and a bit of rope to the bottom of the cliff? Magic?

Incidentally, a surprising number of Iron Age hill forts had *no* internal water supply.
