Well, one difference is that I think there are even less city folk than John's numbers suggest. Maybe 1000 to 1200. Whitewall should be less of a city than Clearwine.

I aslo think the DP picture is a bit... uum...fanciful.

The picture, and the descripion so far, reminds me of Boldhome. Is this intentional? Whitewall is far older, of course, but Tarkalor's Bridge is a post-Boldhome addition.
