This seems most sensible. I also liked the cloud castle thingie. Another alternative would be a dragonnewt road. All of them make for good story opportunities for PC's. Kallyr: "We need to get these people out. How?" "Er, well, we jump off the wall and . . . no, er, we go down through the tunnels and . . . no . . . " etc. Different parties can end up trying different things. Let's just put in a list of ideas. All of them would involve the PC's questing for something or trying to gain an ally.
