Wow. Talk about putting a cog in the works. :) I have missed this completely. I'll go to the sources tonight, but a few initial reactions:

• Like most of the WW sources, this is probably true *in part*. Never trust a king completely, especially when he's still on the run and fighting a propaganda war.
• This kind of fits my earlier suggestion that the heroic defenders at least lived out partially of Stormhold/The Godplane for the final phases of the siege. If nothing else, its a good place to be when the meteors start leveling everything.
• I agree that for the Lunars, its a bit of a dramatic cheat. Majorly. Its a wooden horse inversion, very Greg.

I'll tackle Greg on a couple of these issues. I don't like bothering him while he's overseas - especially since his notes are all back in SanFran, but a couple of guiding insights might be very invaluable here. He's already confirmed the bat story, and asked if we have questions. Stay tuned.
