Yep. IMO Broyan is one of the most noble Orlanthi figures in the Hero Wars. But he isn't perfect - his cavalier attitude towards Melisande (and maybe other former lovers) might rankle with some of the Vingans.  

BTW - why not have Melisande be taken hostage? Jane - does this work for you?
