This is extremely cool and looks very right! Huzzah - now we just need an local environs map (boy, I wish I could draw maps on my computer).

I think that most of Whitewall is empty space and rock. Prior to 1617, I think it had a population of about 1200. It may have actually picked up some population during the civil war - in part because it is such a safe refuge and in part because Broyan is gathering warriors.
