Very reasonable. In fact I suspect that if we count up the local north Markdale folk and the Northdale folk we have already hit the 10,000 figure. Maybe surpassed it.

I think the 5-10k is "Whitewall and its environs". So, there's, say, six villages within throwing distance (which is quite a ways from the top of the Tor). Call it 1500 in the city itself, maybe 900 in a decent sized village near the river where there are some fishermen, and aroung 600 in each of 5 other villages. Is that unreasonable?
