All good. I'm pretty confused myself by the tor/plateau issue. My thought is take something that looks a lot like the rock of the Acrocorinth (we can call it the Tor of Whitewall or whatever) and plop John's city plan on top of it. To avoid confusion, I am going to refer to it as the Rock of Whitewall. The Rock rises some 1000-1800 feet above the the surrounding hills. I assume the whole top of the rock is walled (which means the rock is shaped like John's city plan).

So is the Rock atop the plateau?

The Northvale?

This sounds good, but I think I need to see a map.

Yeah, I wish we could quickly compare sketches - but I have no scanner here at work.
