MY SPECULATIONS ABOUT THE AROKA MYTH:
The myth is about freeing rain from a thundercloud.

Dark Women is the black of the thunder cloud. Crushing Noise is thunder   (and the name of an Orlanth feat), and/or a pseudonym of Ohorlanth. Orlanth 'shows his feet' to the Dark Women by rising into the air, which is the updraft of the thunderstorm. The Dark Women would be a form of Tarena the Blue Women.

MYTHIC PARALLELS
Aroka = The Bat

Aroka's mind destroying eyes = The Bats chaos spitting eyes
Aroka's tongue = The Bat's maw
Aroka's breath = The Bat's scream

Orlanth kills Aroka = The Heortlings defeat the bat

How well do bats fly in the rain?
