As to the Bat flying to Pameltela, Nick put it far better than I did - but the message is the same. It adds nothing to the story and it subtracts from the significant accomplishment of the defenders.

Well, I would debate this at length but Jeff is abusing my patience by
quoting the
entire message just to add some trite statement at the top and he has just
done it
several times in quick succession (three of which are variations of the
same whining
screed). Aggravating this is his subjection of constructive posts (such as
to make
the Bat's disappearance ambiguous) to the same treatment.
So all I am going to say is: People disagree. Get over it.
