A few suggestions:

A character perhaps - larger than life, and not necessarily a warrior. We need merchants, dishthanes, priests and priestesses, smugglers, criminals, entertainers, refugees, camp followers, collaborators, mercenaries, healers, tourists, spies and agents provocateur.

A locale - pick a building, market or section of the wall, or an area on the plateau, and give us a description.

A story or scenario seed - something that happens at any point of the siege. The type of people involved, the challenges and the outcomes. If its open it might become a scenario seed, if its closed we can make it part of the 'official' background and history.

Dramatic themes - a kind of subsection of story seeds. We need broad themes that can be applied across the siege - fatal love stories, rivalries that persist to the final slaughter on the walls, hero duels that go one and on, vengence stories that pass from brother to brother to brother. At this stage we need just simple outlines - names and key events.

And of course, you can always bring a draft to the list for suggestions and detail if required.
