I agree - I think Tarshite and Heortlander are variants of the same Heortling language. They were split off after the Dragonkill, and have about four or five centuries of divergence. Tarshite probably has a lot of Dara Happan and Syllilan loan-words, Heortlander has plenty of Esrolian, Uz and Praxian loan-words. However, they still come from the same stock, probably obey the same grammatical structure and rules, and share many of the same old sacred tales.
